NORDIC ECO FORM RM 135 is a Low-emission multi-purpose release agent for in-situ-concrete and underground construction.

NORDIC ECO FORM RM 135 is a chemically/physically acting form release agent based on a light-colored synthetic oil that is low in aromatic content, keeps the formwork clean and has high corrosion-protection properties. Special additives ensure easy formwork removal and facilitate the production of clean concrete surfaces without any stains or blowholes. The product does not impede the adhesion of subsequent coatings (e.g. render, paint coats) if applied appropriately thinly. Non-corrosive to foamed plastics like expanded Polystyrene and similar materials when standard production methods are employed.

NORDIC ECO FORM RM 135 is particularly suitable for in-situconcrete construction; the product can be applied on absorbent and non-absorbent timber formwork as well as on steel formwork and form liners. The product is also suitable for use in precast concrete plants (at heat application of up to 80 °C during production) and tunnel construction.

NORDIC ECO FORM RM 135 FEATURES AND BENEFITS NORDIC ECO FORM RM 135 gives an improved exposed surface of concrete economically by reducing the application time, quicker stripping, easier and faster cleaning of the forms and increased life of the formworks. It is safe and eliminates many health and environmental risks as compared to the traditional form release agents based on low viscous mineral oils and thus can be used with the maximum confidence by the workers on the job site and in the precast plant.

APPLICATION: NORDIC ECO FORM RM 135 is a ready-to-use product that can be applied particularly by a sprayer. Application by brush or roller is possible, too. The spray application should be carried out carefully in order to achieve a satisfactory coverage. The spraying should be done with a suitable distance from the mould (approx. 50 -100 cm) so that the release agent is evenly distributed in a uniform film thickness. During spraying, it is critical that the spraying pressure is adequately high (3 - 5 bars) and that the gun, especially the nozzle is completely tight in order to avoid dripping. When spraying with a portable handgun, a flat cone nozzle with a spraying angle from 65 to 80° has been found to give the best results. NORDIC ECO FORM RM 135 must not be mixed with other products.

COVERAGE: The coverage of NORDIC ECO FORM RM 135 depends upon the application method. If applied uniformly by a sprayer at a constant pressure of 4 bar the coverage rate is 55 – 85 m²/liter or 12 to 18 ml/m² depending on the type of formwork. PACKAGING: NORDIC ECO FORM RM 135 is supplied in 20-liter cans, 200-liter drums and 1000-liter containers.

STORAGE: NORDIC ECO FORM RM 135 should be stored in original sealed containers and at temperatures between 5°C and 40°C. If stored according to manufacturer’s instructions, the shelf life is 18 months.

HANDLING AND TRANSPORTATION: No special requirements must be observed during use. Protection gloves and glasses are however recommended. Do not eat, drink or smoke during the application. NORDIC ECO FORM RM 135 is non-flammable, nontoxic or irritant and is not subject to special transport requirements.
